I am writing this blog to introduce myself, my name is Philip and have been a new painter since july 2013, I had been through heart surgery, and this gave me my life back which afterwards prompted me to anylse my whole outlook on things, so having never Drawn, Painted or even thought of doing so over the many years, My age is now 67, and have now started painting in oils, and pastel, I have also decided to try and attempt some drawing in charcoal which should be very interesting, I have to date completed 18 oil paintings of which I have given away 10 to friends and family, but kept the remainder, I will attempt to put some of them on this site as would like to know what other people think of my efforts, I would encourage anybody thinking of starting up on Art, but have never got started, mostly people saying I'm rubbish at doing painting and drawing.
