Biography

Hi, I am Al Warner and I am a professional multi media Artist and Art Tutor based in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire. England. I was born in London in 1969 with a paintbrush in my hand and showed a natural talent for painting and drawing far ahead of my years. After finishing school in 1986 I was expected to go on to university and follow a career in Art. However, I felt that to paint life I needed to experience life and so I decided to go into the big wide world and get a proper job. Over the following 24 years I became a Father and Husband and followed careers as a Builder and HGV Driver, painting in my spare time. Late in 2010 I lost my job as an HGV Driver and decided, with nothing else to lose, that now was the time to follow my true passion and become a professional Artist. After a slow start and a steep learning curve my paintings and prints are now held in private and corporate collections locally and worldwide. In 2011 I started to teach art and have now taught 100s of adults and children In our own classroom and throughout the county of Hampshire. 2011 also saw the very first Eb & Flo painting created, Eb & Flo Bay Watch. Although I enjoy painting everything Eb & Flo quickly became my signature style. In 2013 we opened a Gallery and Gift shop The Art Pod on Lee on the Solent High Street. In 2014 We moved to a new location in Crafties Corner, Windy Alley Lee on the Solent. I also love to design, so in 2014 we started our Ebay shop which sells a variety of items with my own designs printed onto them plus a variety of art and craft materials and a few other things.
