Mothballed

Hi all you art lovers, I'd like to share with you my frustrations in my lack of participation with our common interest of creating works of art. I hope that in putting down in writing my thoughts that I may awake from my slumber and rekindle my love of watercolours. Due to various reasons which I won't bore you with my painting as declined from been an enthusiastic watercolourist to one of non productive. However I have still managed to keep sketching and continue with my participation in the Wakefield Life Drawing Group which meets most Monday evenings. Why you may ask why as my passion declined? I can only plead one reason, that due to a spasmodic participation that the standard of my paintings declined to a standard which I was not pleased with and therfore I participated even less. The last picture I painted was in November last year which was indeed my Xmas card picture as seen in my blog. I know that as the saying goes the cure is to get back in the saddle but at the moment the horse looks so big. Well that's all for now maybe next time you read this I will have awoke from my slumber. Let's hope so.

Excellent down to earth approach to the subject has Alwyn. There should be more on TV showing his skills.
