Well I'm to tired tonight so sod it...I was too tired last night but had the good sense to put it away before it turned into mush...I've got to be in the mood to paint you know that can't wait to get your hands on it...I got my Australian Artist today with lots of competition winners and not a single demonstration...still good reading...babysitting Grandaughter Sasha tonight not a baby but a dog...Daughter is out on the raz with her workmates...I think I'll be 80 and in the age hostel by the time I'm a Grandmother...I've brought up a very self sufficient Daughter...Phil I made one delivery that was enough thank you...seriously I have to stop being so precious with my stuff like my Moleskine into which only my name and address etc. has gone into...they also do a lovely watercolour sketch book but expensive...happy painting Katie-Jane I'm off to bed

I completely agree Patsy...can't watch sport just await the results! Phil, you'll be pleased to hear that I spend two hours "playing" this evening...one hour doing trapped shapes exercises and the other finishing off another ink on handmade paper (this time a copy of a b&w photo - blurry nude) and starting what I'm guessing will end up being a mixed media piece....another variation of a familiar landscape that seems to have captured my imagination at the moment

Hi Katie-Jane thanks for your comments on my gallery...I admit that procrastination is a big fault of mine...love reading about art but too scared to put brush to paper that's why there isn't much new in there...I decided to leave the Pilbara Landscape alone for a while it was becoming an obsession and when I got to the point of getting the magnifying glass out I put it away and started the exercises in Leisure Painter...I love your latest, is it in your gallery?...yes it will be interesting to see how many OBE's will be handed out Freddy will get one of course in fact I bet you he becomes a Sir...last time Australia lost the Ashes they launched an inquiry!!! sport watch it don't do it...I do love the Moto GP the motor cycle racing but I don't watch it if I'm on my own with the TV controls just have a look at the results...I'm deeply in love with Valentino Rossi...that makes about six...still don't know if I like it because of the sport or just for a good perv at my favourites...keep sketching
