Sorry about the delay Patsy, but Max has had a few problem's So i have been seeing to him & also sitting with my mother who can't be left on her own to long, my sister is staying with her. I have not been on the computer only to see my e-mails. We hope you had a nice christmas & wish you a happy new year. Yes we did have some snow but it didn't settle here it never does we are very lucky. Lots of love Betty & Max XXXXX

Hi Max and Betty hope you both are well or as well as can be...I see you are having a lot of snow over there whereas here we are boiling with no relief in sight...I'll be really busy from now on so just wanted to wish you both a Very Happy Christmas and New Year...Lots of Love Patsy XXXXX

Hi Max and Betty I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've been down to your blog...I hope this finds you in better health...have you had all of your shots for winter? I hope that Mum is still going well. We are well over here and summer is just about beginning until now it's been unseasonably cool but I'm not complaining but I sure will be in a few weeks...until now I'm ignoring Christmas but I'll soon have to get moving and get the tree up that usually gets me into the mood for the rest of the stuff to be done...I won't take so long until I get to your blog again...Lots of Love Patsy XXXXXXXX

Thank you for your consideration....we are beginning to notice the passing of the years......Betty has a scooter but my frame is to big for it........But now i have the walking aid perhap's i can get out more it has a seat on it so if my legs ache i can sit down. It was a shame about "SHELLY" but she had a good life & a long one for a dog of her breed.....we miss her but our son's dog "BLADE" helps to ease the pain........Saw your gallery update & thought it was turning out well.....keep up the good work. Lots of love Betty & Max xxxx

Hi Betty and Max...sorry about Max's legs horrible isn't it does he have a scooter he can use? I occasionally get one from the shopping centre when my legs don't feel as if they belong to me and I whizz around trying to knock over all of the people who stick out their elbows out just in time for me to walk into. Sorry about Shelly you must miss her...our old poodle Zoe has gone senile but is fit as a fiddle but she dosn't know if it's night or day sometimes and she can have us up sometimes five times a night for a sip of water...it's hard we don't know what to do. It's good that you have your Son with you must be a lot of help and having the dog will ease the loss of Shelly...I'll off to Max's gallery before I log off...do look after yourselves...Lots of Love Patsy XXXXX

Thank you Patsy for your kind comments.........max have had this problem for a while due to his sugar diabetis his legs give out a lot........Unfortunately i had to have my mothers dog put to sleep her legs gave out & her heart got worse........it happened last wednesday.......mum didn't see her for 7 months but she understood the situation. Now on a brighter note Max finished the painting he was doing & it is on his gallery if you would like to see it. We have our son back home living with his dog for a while he is a great help & his dog is a darling......Well Patsy will keep you informed Take care Love Betty & Max xxxxxxx

Oh Dear Betty and Max I'm sorry to hear that I do hope Max is recovering from his fall...is it the swine flu thing he has? hope not...we have a free vaccine over here now but we think we have already had it earlier on in the winter so I don't think I'll bother...it's good that his painting is helping but I hope he's resting it's the best thing with flu's...how are coping yourself you have a lot on your plate with your Mum too...there's nothing like a dog when you are ill, they seem to know and cuddle up to you so comforting...do take care of yourselves Max and Betty hope all is well soon for both of you...with Lots of Love Patsy XXXXXXXXX

Hello Patsy it's Betty hear......had a few problems of late Max keeps falling over his legs won't hold him he is having physio on them..........He fell in the street a couple of weeks ago & and medics were called he cut his nose & left thumb badly also had bruised ribs.........Now he has this flu bug that is going around with a nasty cough & upset stomach.....i called our doctor today & she put him on antibiotics..........he is trying to do his painting which is helping. Hi Max and Betty havn't heard from you in a while hope all is OK with you both. Love Patsy XXX

Hi Max and Betty thanks so much for your kind comments on my gallery...I'm hoping to finish this one...I feel like a complete beginner at the moment which in some ways I am but struggle on as we all do...I have just visited yours and Betty's gallery and there is some wonderful work in there...I have left comments...it's hard isn't it to get to the galleries I try to find time every few weeks to have a good stroll through the gallery gives some inspiration...we are still waiting for our spring to appear, we havn't seen it but the plants and birds have...the magpies are breeding at the moment and they call to each other all night I hear it once the TV goes off...trouble is it's swooping time so we have to watch out for the Magpies they can hurt if you get into their territory...how is Mum? I hope she is settling in OK give her my best...glad you liked the Gerealdton Wax the blooms are wonderful this year and I have more Snowdrops than I know what to do with...I think ours may be a little taller but I love them anyway...Well Max and Betty must off to bed now it's late as usual...hope both of you are over all of your aches and pains...Love Patsy XXX

Hi Max and Betty yes we had a lovely meal...steak, roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli and gravy...she learnt at her Mother's knee...Dad got a smashing drill better than any he's had before...she's very close to her Dad but then arn't all Daughter's...our weather has been awful this week...gales and driving winds...today it has hissed down all day so I didn't get out to pick some snowdrops which are now out in hoards...we are hoping our reservoir will overflow the weir this year for the first time in ten years...most of Perth goes up to the hills to have a look when that happens...I'll get some photos if it does overflow...well Off for a bit of tea now...look after yourselves XXX Patsy

Thank you for such a brilliant update on the event's in your life in OZ......mum is trying to cope with the help of careers & Betty's sister is staying with her for a week or two while she settles in.....she is very confused at the moment........we still have her dog with us at present so that mum can get used to being home again..........It has been more like november weather here this week but they do forecast sunny weather by friday........our garden is going over now only a few summer flowers left.........We hope you enjoyed your meal with your daughter & that hubby had a lovely gift for fathers day.

Hi Max and Betty thanks for your comments on my latest effort I'm afraid I'm going through one of those patches where I can talk more about how to paint then actually do it so I hope I can get this one finished in one go...so glad to hear that Mum is home isn't modern medicine wonderful...you will probably miss Shelly when she goes...hope all of your aches and pains are resolving nothing worse is there...all I can see now are winter weeds and at the moment my back won't hold up to pulling them out so I thought I would blog to keep my mind off them...Daughter's patio opening party went well last night...the wind dropped on my orders and they only had a couple of showers...it's Australian Fathers Day today so we are off now to Daughter's for dinner and gift giving

Thank you Sylvia for your comments on shelly mum's dog.......we are wrapping her tablets up in the best ham of the bone she looks foreward to this each day she eats it without question she likes it & alway's ask for more.......we shall miss her when she goes back to mum next week.......she really is no problem which is a joy.........glad you found my paintings have replied to them love Betty & Max XXX ( A kiss from both of us & Shelly too)

So glad you enjoyed it.......we did to & was so glad we won the ashes, when the aussies were so sure that they would win just shows that you can never be sure !!!!! We havn't got time to think of our health when looking after a 14 year old dog, but she will be going home to mum next week all being well "FINGERS CROSSED" XXX Betty & Max

Yes Max and Betty wasn't the cricket just wonderful...we do admit to doing a fair bit of gloating today...Aussies are sore losers...our house was in an uproar so good...a great lift of the spirit...hope you are both well XXX Patsy

Hi Max and Betty smashing that Mum's going home isn't modern medicine wonderful...good to have you posting regularly again...love Shelly nothing like a dog is there...hope all of your aches and pains are easing off...and thanks for your comment on my blog...apart form chocolate which I love and eat in fits and starts I eat mostly fresh because I find that many of the additives in some foods just about send me through the roof...I start to tremble and my ticker goes off beat so just stay away from them...would be interesting to break down what really is in some food these days...Hubby will get a migraine if he has that Cuppa-Soup... I was horrified when I saw those poor Orangutans what a greedy world we are...I know there is a hew and cry over here about all of this so perhaps a change is on the way that is if enough people protest...off to have a look at your gallery. LOL Patsy XX
