‘Into the Red" is a collaboration of 140 artists and writers to raise awareness, and funds, for Britain’s most threatened bird species. Published today by the British Trust for Ornithology, the book highlights 70 species, each one with an piece of artwork and writing. The contributors include Megan McCubbin, Mackenzie Crook, Jim Reeves - and me! (I’ve contributed the painting of tree sparrows). All profits go towards the BTO’s work for bird conservation.
