Hello, not long now and the Gympie Gold Rush competition will be here, I can honestly say I am very nervous, only my second time of entering my art in anything, was going to enter 3 paintings but decided 2 would be plenty to worry about, am entering Australias back yard and steeped in light which I have not finnished yet!! I have changed the picture on my blog to show you all a beautiful wild yellow crested cockatoo that stops in every day to have a nibble on the bird seed I put out in a half log hanging from my verandah, as on the forum we were talking about inspiration and I mentioned the wild life that we have here, Hope the photo is clear enough for you all to see it. Have thought of painting it, perhaps after the competition. Karleen :)
