Extremely bad eczema, which caused huge fissures & cracks on my palms, eventually stopped me from painting, although I could continue with my digital work. By the time my hands were fully clear, I'd lost the oomph. But by Christmas 2013 I was ready to start again, only to find out that I've got serious allergies to certain chemicals used in artists' paints/media, even watercolours!! I can't afford organic paints, & besides even those are not necessarily safer. Nevertheless I'm not giving up working with pencils, although I've not found the impetus yet. However, I've been delighted to discover a proper artists' app for Android Tablets - woohoo!!
