Woman flu? Is that the bird flu we heard so much about?

How horrible to get the flu ! I hope that you are almost back on track now Patsy.

Hope you feel better soon Patsy, We have it here people are going down with it. Glad you enjoyed your time with the 4 year old, children can help a lot.........just been on Sylvia's blog you want to go on it well worth a look........left a message on our blog for you.

Ugh get well soon Patsy. I have several friends who have it too.

I'm so sorry its got to you too Patsy but at least we are not alone! Hope you are feeling better soon. I think I am on the mend but will be at least well enough for work tomorrow (unfortunately). Must be remnants of that Anzac spirit...got to soldier on. Which reminds me, must dig out that recipe for Anzac bikkies for work.

Poor Patsy. Large G & T works wonders.

Woman flu or malaria?

Hi Patsy, hope your flu didn't spoil your Easter. Yes, I've seen many great bands. The first one was The Yardbirds in '65ish (Clapton's first band - before he joined John Mayall) then Queen before they became famous, Geno, Hendrix ... Our local theatre has been rebuilt and the visionaries are booking big name modern bands (Kooks, Scouting for Girls, Kasabian etc.) much to the chagrin of the local pearls and twin set brigade. But it's working. The venue is full and people flock to Brid for the relevant weekends. Money talks! Best bit is that I can walk down (15 mins) and pub crawl back (3 hrs). Sheffield Arena is 1hr away and the real BIG bands go there - that's where I am seeing Tina Turner. If you're jealous we can send Rolf Harris back! Just remembered he was in Brid last summer headlining a music weekend. He followed The Levellers - chalk and cheese? Second thoughts we'll keep Rolf you can have Barry Humphries back. He's still doing the same act after 40 odd years. Seen it. Keep plugging away at those rocks.
