A quick few words to introduce myself. 5 Years ago I took early retirement to concentrate on my Scuba diving and painting; as a result Jan (my wife) and I moved to the resort town of Kusadasi in Turkey. Since moving here, I have held a couple of successful exhibitions and have sold quite a few of my works (mainly local scenes, F1 scenes as well as figure studies). I now have paintings hanging in customer locations in Turkey, New Zealand, Holland, Germany, the USA, Ireland and the UK. Many of these have resulted from commissions, although a few are speculative paintings I did. I paint mainly in acrylics, but I also do the occasional water-colour painting as well as pen and ink drawings. Unfortunately there are few art groups here although there are some in Istanbul, but as that's 900Km away, not much use to me. I have been asked to teach art to an interested group, but unfortunately my diving and painting activities have so far precluded me doing that.
