Hope everyone had a great festive season and New Year's celebrations. Mine was rather quiet, which is nice except for the little imp on my shoulder telling me I should be doing something productive. I have made a slow start on a small pair of boxed canvases, just in acrylic and not much to look at presently, but I have not been terribly enthused so it is slow going. My painting classes start again on Friday, which I am looking forward to, but we are "expecting" heavy snowfall over the next two days (I'm always a little skeptical about the weather predictions) and I am not looking forward to THAT....it always means a complete collapse of the transport system in the capital and an slippery-slide of a hill by my house. Also I am due to start pottery classes on Saturday, which I haven't done since primary school, so that shall be fun (providing I can get there). So things have been a little quiet, but hopefully 2010 will be more productive and successful (artwise) than 2009.
