I am a healthcare professional but have had an innate interest in art for more than 20 years and have become a self taught 2D fibre artist. My special interest is animals but have recently enjoyed composing city life, particularly abroad as the colours and light are sensational. Painting with wool as I like to call it is nearly better than paint as it does not need to dry and the colours lead to more creative freedom. I don’t tend to use a felting machine as it leaves a poke pattern. Instead prefer a single needle and then wet felt the image to blend colours. I have been a subscriber to Leisure Painter for many years but have only recently decided to display some of my work. I hope you enjoy it.
