Nice to see the weather’s improving after the bank holiday. Last month saw us in Whitby filming for a new series of instructional art DVDs. The weather always plays an important role as strong winds and rain can play havoc with a filming schedule. Fortunately, our b&b had free wireless internet, so we could check daily and alter our plans accordingly. Purdey played a key role and managed to live up to the saying, ‘never work with animals and children’. Many a successful take had to be re-shot as scrabbling noises from Purdey digging on the beach entered the airwaves! We decided to practise filming by producing some short skits and publishing them on www.youtube.com. You can find these by going to the site and typing in my name, Tim Fisher.
