I'm busy getting pictures framed and wondering about the costs here. Yet I feel it's so important that the frames suit my type of work. And the big, chunky, handpainted frames by Alan at York Rose in York do the paintings justice. But it's SO COSTLY. And when galleries put the paintings in the storeroom instead of the wall, that's even more frustrating. More and more the life of an artist is about marketing, pushing, challenging ---- can't wait to get back into the studio.
