Forgot you can't attach a picture at this point. I'll put it on my blog...

Your wish is my command Patsy. Through the miracle of modern digital technology. Henry in situ. Hope you can make it out. Paintings didn't come off well. I had the idea of painting, but didn't really have a subject, so no target. I just floundered. Decided to tidy up the studio instead. I'm not ashamed of it now! I'll try again later. Good luck at the Doctor's. I keep forgetting about the weeble. Look up too quickly and lose my balance. Worse things happen at sea...

You are a lucky one Patsy, I love moonstones too. They are so mysterious and beautiful. I get flowers & choc's, for which I'm grateful because I love them. The flowers are beautiful & the choc's taste good but, Moonstones.................I'm turning green.

Yes I have been busy, but the dining room is finished now (apart from the girly bits - not my department). 'Henry' (the hippo) looks good in situ. I've spent two days getting the garden up to scratch ready for our promised good summer. Today is a bank holiday and I am indulging myself. Worked enough for a while. Going to concentrate on my paintings. I am going to produce a series of small low cost pictures for the tourist market - we'll see if it works. Going to look up Moleskine now - never heard of it, but I am a sucker for sketch books. Pride of ownership!

I hope you enjoy your early mother's day, will you still be doing something next week? I love the description of your pressie, sounds like your girl knows just how to show her mum how much she loves her...(and I'm still here, not sick but will explain in a bit)... going to check out your gallery now!

What a lovely card Patsy you must be very proud of it......it makes you feel so proud of your children when they do things like this.....been on your gallery like the new painting have left a message. Betty & Max

How nice to be appreciated. My boys have decided to ignore Mothers' Day because it is always so close to my birthday. ( In Germany it is on the 10th ,too.) I'm going to have a look at your watercolour now Patsy - I have never heard of adding gum arabic ( not even sure what it is). I am always learning new things from "you guys" . (That's what comes from 4 weeks USA.

How lovely Patsy. Your daughter knows what would make her mum happy.

Lovely card Patsy. I have so many old copies of art mags here is there any way I can get some out to you cheaply. If you want some of them I could send some out via surface mail.. should we look into it.?

Enjoy your course and pay attention because we will be asking questions. I didn't take any photos of my new stuff because I've just painted more in the same style as before. They went straight from the easel into frames to make sure they didn't get damaged. I've got ten so far with a couple of weeks to go until the exhibition. Time for two or three more! I'll post some more when I have some suffiently different. Glad you've found a decent art shop. I have to buy on-line because our nearest shop is an hour away (and then parking etc. that's a whole morning out of my precious weekend). It's not the same as mooching and actually seeing and feeling the stuff. Still weebly but its not getting worse. I'm in a stable condition (if that's not an oxymoron!). Thinking about taking one of Vivien Walters e-courses. I like the sound of trying mixed media. Pastel on acrylic. Could be interesting.
