My need to create artwork is something that just happens but like many artists, I think it is usually as a result of an emotional response to things I may have seen or experienced. In some ways, this enthusiasm to be creative is the easy bit; the challenge is then deciding how exactly to make the piece of art. As we all know, learning how to draw and paint requires a good understanding of art materials and art techniques; the more I learn the more I want to find out. I don’t think I will ever stop wanting to learn more about art…………. A recent fun challenge has been to make a video on 'How to draw and paint horses'. I love drawing and painting horses....and there is no better inspiration for me than to be able to work from life. I hope this video encourages artist to have a go!
