I've started painting rather late in Life, I have no training and have only been painting 3 years. It began when pictures of imaginary faces started coming into my head, and I began painting simple, imaginary portraits in watercolour. I then started experimenting in acrylic, which I now prefer. "What's Out There" - the Cosmos - has fascinated me for a long time, and,I really enjoyed creating my impressions of the Cosmos, I could really have fun with colour with these. I also love and admire the animal kingdom,so, next, I tried my hand at painting animals. I found this more difficult. With people and with animals, to me, their eyes are the most important feature of the painting. Hardly anyone has seen my paintings and I have given quite a few of them away to friends.
