I got a real bargain at our local charity shop . . . a polished wood frame (30" x 14") with glass in it containing an old and faded print. A slight blemish on the frame was polished out with boot polish, the glass removed and put to one side. The backing board was in good condition , so on to that I carefully glued canvas with PVA glue and removed all the air bubbles. When dry I coated the canvas board with thin coat of emulsion paint (or gesso) and it is now ready for me to paint the next masterpiece in acrylics.
