Hi, I am an artist working in oils. I have in the past been doing this as a full time job, but at the moment I don't have enough steady business to let it be my sole source of income, despite everyone loving my work. My dream is to make enough money selling my commissions to give up my other income stream. I long to just go out in the countryside and have the time to photograph and sketch this lovely landscape and the things that inhabit it. The strangest painting I have ever been asked to paint is of one year old child (not an easy task as the child was yet to be born!!!), and my most famous link has been when asked to paint Lewis Hamilton's dog. I am always looking for the next subject and can usually accommodate requests within 2-3 weeks. I also work from photos and through recent research have found that I am actually cheaper than a photo shoot at a photographers, and yet you get an oil painting rather than just a photograph.
