I love the feeling of approaching a new year. When the chaos of Christmas and New Year have subsided, I feel that I have a delicious blank canvas ahead of me. Whilst having already arranged the structure of exhibition dates and set aside time to teach, I also have a feeling of a new start and feeling like the "world is your oyster". Maybe we should sow the seed now of setting ourselves a few "New Years Resolutions or challenges". Try new paper, different colours, subjects that we wouldn't normally paint, I could go on........!!!!
