Art has has become my main focus of the day and I don't know about you but i get itchy fingers if i haven't had the opportunity to do any! Even though i am pleased with my progress i think this opportunity of sharing my work with like minded individuals is great, not just positive comments(although they are gratefully received!) but constructive criticism and hints and tips. I have realised over the past few years that there will be many varying opinions over one picture. It has been good fun overhearing conversations over a single picture at an exhibition! Often i have heard someone say how much they dislike a picture and i have thought to myself "Oh but i really like that!" So now that i am a fully fledged member I look forward to expanding on this new second interest.! To Val i must say how nice it is to know someone else is pursuing art for similar reasons! All i know is that it has kept me sane on long stays in hospital.
