I like your little sketch Walter - lovely colours.

Fantastic! I do a bit of 'direct' painting -no drawing - just in with the paint - myself. It is so satisfying, isn't it? The freedom of the colours and the way the watercolour has merged and mingled and done it's own thing is really, to me, what watercolour is all about. Great stuff - let's see a lot more of this.

Hi Jeanette, Thea and Carole -many thanks for your kind comments - this really was a quick 3x5 inch approx sketch - done in about 5 minutes after I had sketched the fishing boat at Dysart - sometimes these sketches turn out better when you're not too worried about the outcome. Happy painting Walter
