Waterlillies I final version

Hi Avril and Val - many thanks for your kind words -the painting is darker and more luminous IRL. PS to Avril - I applied a glaze of a Fr Ult, AC and BS over the background to soften the water "blooms" , this is best done by turning the painting upside down and working away from the "horizon" - I also flicked in a little more local colour on the waterlillies and buds. Don't know if I am allowed to advertise but here goes! - the painting will be in a winter exhibition at the Eduardo Alessandro Studios in Broughty Ferry by Dundee from this Saturday - it is not yet on their website www.eastudios.com but hopefully will be soon.
