A great idea to frame the bustling crowds with that imposing archway. Also placing a person just about to walk through it cleverly leads the eye where no doubt you, as the artist, wanted it to go. Lovely painting.

very nice Stephen I like the idea of looking through the arch very clever and the foreground shadow keeps the front interesting and helps create depth top job Stephen.

Another watercolour painted at the art group tonight from a photo from my recent Majorcan jaunt. Couldn't help but think it would have been better to visit Alcudia on a quieter day! Lovely walled town.
