An enjoyable painting as well Stephen, well done.

Lovely painting Stephen.

Nicely rendered Stephen, this is good work indeed.

Many thanks John and Henry.

Beautifully and carefully painted.

Really good !

Many thanks Alan and Linda, the credit must go to Jeremy, who is very good at leading these workshops. I am always struck by how meticulous professional watercolourists are in mixing their colours and ensuring everything is prepared prior to beginning to paint.

A nice painting Stephen, a lovely sky and atmosphere

A lovely scene Stephen. Lots to look at.

Many thanks, David and Sarah.

That'll be where I'm going wrong then. I hardly ever prepare my paint or mix colours in advance. in fact, I rarely know which colours I'll be using and just grab the nearest tube which looks suitable and hope for the best. Interesting how we work differently and you're obviously learning a lot Stephen and producing different types of good work :)

I suppose with lots of practice you develop a way of working which suits your own style Louise, certainly your work appeals to many people, as we can see on pol. Jeremy is very good at encouraging amateur painters to improve their work.

You lucky man Stephen what a productive day

This really is a beauty, Stephen. Beautiful composition, great sky colours, wow!!!

Many thanks, Dennis and Mia.

Many thanks Russell.

Lovely scene Stephen glad you had a great day.

Many thanks Carole, it was very enjoyable, working with others, interesting how different the works were, although we were all essentially copying from Jeremy's demonstration.

Painted this at a workshop run by Jeremy Ford, it was an enjoyable way to spend the day.

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
