A beautiful light JFW always great studies with some lovely detail

Wonderful light, you make it look simple but I'm sure it's not.

I knew this was one of yours Stephen before Isaw your name. Lovely watercolour.

Many thanks Chris and Sandra. All down to practice Sandra.

Lovely light and atmosphere Stephen

Lovely scene Stephen, you have good contrast between the land and water but no tell tale Fletcher Watson scratching out with a pen knife.

Many thanks, David and Barry. No pen knife work Barry, I did try a little 'Ron Ranson fingernail' in the dark trees though! Interesting how they have their own little tricks! The important thing is of course, is they could certainly paint!

Very true Stephen there is always something to learn and I often look at their work when searching for inspiration.

Many thanks, Barry and Carole.

A quick rework of a JFW classic. This sort of work looks fairly simple but controlling those strong, fluid washes is anything but!
