Very striking painting, Stephen. I think in watercolour a damage can become a unexpected result. I like the houses in background and your reflection in the water.

Nothing wrong with pastel stick - I use white acrylic ink - good outcome .

Painted from biro doodle, in watercolour on cartridge paper. Unfortunately I damaged the surface trying to lift out the sail, so I resorted to a white pastel stick!
