Ooty,a hill station in southern India, was a favourite with the British when they ruled India. The Ooty library was established in 1859 . It houses a collection of classic and other rare books. The library closes early and by evening the area around it is dimly lit and largely deserted. If there is a resident British ghost in Ooty,I wouldn't be surprised if his favourite 'after hours' haunting place is the Ooty library.
