Evening Comes

I know I'll be the first to comment on this because it's nearly 2am and I can't sleep! Nevertheless....your paintings are so good I don't know where to start. The pose in this one is great, plus the light and texture. I also admire how you've achieved the effect of satin in later pics. The little girl in the doorway is such a strong image and I notice you use so many different media which makes looking at your work so interesting. I have enjoyed looking at them all.

Thanks Marjorie, very kind comments from you indeed. I try not to restrict myself to any particular media as i find i can create different effects for different compositions or subject matter, but more often than not it depends on which artist i'm inspired and influenced by at that moment. Hope you get that insomnia sorted!
