I like, among many other things, that very delicately painted tracery of twigs - how, apart from having a steady hand, did you accomplish that, I wonder?

Thank you Glennis and Robert for nice comments. The twigs/branches on the right were painted over 3 sessions - first very light grey with turps and rigger when I'd almost finished the sky, then let it dry and againa few more with rigger but a bit darker greeny grey, then let it dry again and added a few more with a darker shade and turps. Then filled in bits of the sky again - it's only a small painting so didn't take long.

Oh yes… !!!

Love this one Pat! I agree with Robert, the twigs are very good.
