Speeding a sail boat is a very instable situation, you are at the limit, everything can change within seconds , this tension and speed is perfectly visualized here Pat, great!

Oil on large canvas. My son has a racing yacht in the caribbean - he will say this is not technically good re yacht drawing, and I agree, but I've tried to capture the speed and sometimes frenetic jostling for supremacy when they race.
