Great job on the metal Marjorie with its strong tonal values. I see what you mean about the cabbage. It's tonal value is very subtle. However the answer it to use artistic licence and bag some strong tone in.

Thanks John - I'll probably do that, right now I've had enough of it! Now it's on to something different and in acrylic.

I love it all Marjorie, from the pan to the cabbage. I have a lovely photo of a cabbage taken at the Harrogate Flower Show several years ago, maybe I won't be trying to paint it now.

This is so good Marjorie, I like the reflective look on the pan in fact it is all good.
