Oil on canvas 30.5 x 25.5cm. I didn’t intend for this still life painting to be quite so kitsch but it took on a life of its own! A gorgeous scented rose from my garden in a Venetian glass vase.

I set myself a challenge to paint a small picture for each letter of the alphabet. Not every painting I've done since then has been part of this 'alphabet' but I enjoy coming back to this series in between other projects. I'd love to know what you think of my work or if you have a favourite.
