What a brilliant idea as the bouquet will fade and die but your painting won't. Having said that, my mother dried my wedding bouquet for me and I still have it - 46 years later! I would have loved a painting of it though. It is a really beautiful piece of work and the bride will be thrilled.

Oil on canvas, 24" x 18" One of a pair (hence the title) of a bride's bouquet, a commission by the bride's mother. What a lovely thing to have hanging in your living room - beats a photo! I love the colours of this although it was difficult to enhance the light and shade as there is so much white. I Just hope she likes it! Now to get started on Bride's Bouquet Part II :-)
