Graphite on bristol board (30 x 42cm). A portrait of my late father in law, Harry, who unfortunately died before I met my husband so this was a difficult project from the outset as I had never met him. However, I do know that he was a brilliant chef, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he possessed a very mischievious sense of humour which I have tried to convey here. He was also six foot four, hence the name, so probably spent the majority of his adult life looking down at people when stood up. I hope I've done him proud on this one, however, any criticism welcome as I'm not sure about his eyes... thanks for looking.
