What detail in those boats and reflections! Lovely work!

This is wonderful Judith, I have yet to try a landscape with pencils but this certainly makes me want to try!

Where's the sitter? Very detailed, wotks well.

I actually find coloured pencil suits landscapes although I intend to try and master watercolour based pencils enough to be able to rival regular watercolour. This was created using a wax based soft cored coloured pencil which allowed me to create lots of different textures and reflections. The picture is of Lake Windermere and this is the second study that I have done of it, the first was more abstract and much brighter colours.
