If this is spring after the floods it works well Jo, but anyway it's a great use of watercolour wet in wet and looseness

I love water colour used like this way. This is great.

Great watery washes Jo, and a lovely palette.

I like the abstract wet in wet colors with just the right amount of detail

Thank you for your comments. It's a combination of watersoluble pen and watersoluble felt pens. I find the immediacy of these allows me to move the colour around ( or even remove it it I don't like it) There is also a lot of water just flicked loosely at the picture from the end of a mop brush. Sometimes that creates the cauliflowers, which I leave because I like the effect. I nearly always "underfinish" my paintings, because I am nervous about overdoing the detail and busy feeling. Sometimes it doesn't work, but this one seemed to have. The dotted effect is felt pen, and intended to link the areas of the picture together.

I love this - so colourful, so loose and very expressive. I bet you got a real buzz from seeing the paint and ink work together.

Beautiful! I like the loose approach.
