Wonderful colours. The green reminds me of the green luminescent moss I came across in a forest once. Eerie in the gloam of a rainy day.

Lemon Yellow, straight out of the tube onto the paper, then thinly dispersed with water. I try then not to disturb the yellow as I add other colours. In this one it looks as though I used sepia, and either cobalt blue or indigo. Self imposed rule of never more than three colours - otherwise I get mud... :)

Great. It is wonderful when you use the colour straight from the tube isn't it!

especially lemon yellow. Because of it's opaqueness, I don't like to add it into a mix. I discovered this by accident.. and have gone through several tubes of it now :)

Lovely watercolour Jo and thank you for telling us about your technique!

Very strong and striking image - love it.

Great effect Jo, very eye catching.
