16x20 acrylic on canvas — Autumn is my favorite time of year if for no other reason than the changing colors of the leaves. Behind our house is a wooded hillside where deer travel through often...sometimes right down to my flower gardens. It's the smell of the woods and the sounds of crackling leaves as the deer pass through that inspired "Autumn's Wooded Riverbed". This is an acrylic piece on acrylic titanium double-primed canvas, back-stapled with kiln-dried stretcher bars, and varnished for fade protection.
