Inside the Potting Shed

Another very nice piece. I like the way you've captured the detail and conveyed the atmosphere of the shed.

Thank you Seok for your comment - it was a difficult subject to paint with all the jumble of equipment and pots but I really liked the contracting colours of the wall and the pots. The actual painting is not quite so bright - but it was difficult to get the photo just right.

Actually I must confess it is not my shed but the potting shed at Calke Abbey! I just loved the well used look of the place with all the old bits of equipment and pots lying around. It was a challenging subject.
