Canal Bridge

Very well painted and sorting out of colours . An optical illusion as occured re water below bridge so Maybe hide the base of the left hand Arch. Very saleable

I see what Neil means. Easily done with a little more of the beautiful foreground on the left. Lovely colours used. A very pretty scene so very well painted.

Yes I too see Neil's point, perhaps the darker water where the bridge meets the canal isn't as clear in the photo as in the actual painting? I particularly like the foliage in the foreground, beautiful

Thank you for the encouraging comments. It is often difficult to know whether a painting works unless there is some positive feedback. I do seem to be drawn towards portraying water and foliage and learn something new each time.
