A really, really beautiful piece. Your colors and light are super.

Wow....! This really strikes a cord..... fantastic colours all sitting so harmoniously side by side and sooo transparent. The drawing is great too...... I love everything about it. What paper and paints do you use .... if I may ask?

Oh Brian, this is sooo beautiful! I agree with all the above comments: stunning. Marvellous other works in your gallery!

Hi Avril, Thank you for your kind comments. I work on Arches 300 gsm Rough paper -- stretched of course. The paint I use are Winsor & newton Artists water colours. Best wishes Brian

A wonderful composition, so much detail in the reflections, bricks and balcony a painting to get drawn into.

Such a beautiful painting...in fact a gallery of beautiful paintings!

Brian. I agree with everyone's comments. So nice to see an artist use watercolour the way you do. It's absolutely brilliant. well done.

Glad I didn't miss this one Brian! The colours are amazing and it's so well observed and painted ....great talent, so jealous. Of to look at your other stuff! Cheers

This is amazing...I love the water, the colours, everthing!

I have only just come across your wonderful work. You perfectly capture the reflection of water in watercolour which is not easy to do. Your colours are bold, crisp and perfectly painted and not many , I think, can paint this accurately in this medium. Beautiful. Well done and I look forward to seeing more new work.

Wow, love this style... this is your forte for sure..... absolutly stunning

I love all your pictures. Your skills are marvellous and the pictures are heartwarming.

I love water, reflections and old crumbly buildings, Venice has them all! This was painted in my studio from a pencil sketch and reference photograph.
