I was immediately attracted to this lovely painting - the reflections in the water are beautifully done. I have just looked through your wonderful portfolio and and I am not sure how I have managed to miss so much of your work! Your handling of watercolour is skilful and you have produced some really excellent work.

Having just had another good trawl through your excellent portfolio, I am again struck by the cleanness of your paintings. There is such clarity in the colours, wonderful transparency and superb light. You also incorporate great darks to add punch to the compositions. Your drawing skills are smashing and a lesson to us all I think! This is another wonderful painting showing off all your skills in painting water and reflections. I have really enjoyed having another look at your outstanding paintings.

As soon as I saw this painting, I was imeadiatly drawn to it. The detail is superb and certainly does not retract from the atmosphere you have created. The colours, reflections and movement created are first class, I will certainly be studying your work in more detail. Viewed all your portfolio, very talented!!

I painted this in July when the weather was really bad and I couldn't work outside. It was done in my studio from an old sketch and photograph .... quite a pleasing result for a few wet days
