Love the colours. Impressive picture too

This is superb and beautifully done Alan.

Great painting - love the colour choices.

Really well drawn and coloured.

A beautiful building and excellent drawing. Love the contrast in tones. Just about to read your Natural Line article!

Love your very effective use of ink and was here Alan. It is such a beautiful cathedral.

That's beautifully done Alan. Such interesting mark making, and the pieces you have left white tie everything together so well.

Fabulous drawing/painting Alan, I love the colours

I'm with Martin and I like this a lot

Very impressive, Alan. A beautiful cathedral to paint.

A beautiful line and wash sketch, Alan - love it, especially those warm colours.

Lovely Line and wash Alan, like your palette very much. Very impressive!

Superb Alan! Wonderfully loose and expressive marks especially in the trees and shrubs. I too enjoyed your recent article!

Again - knew who produced this the moment I saw it. Lovely dark, rich tones against the light, the spires piercing the sky.

A lovely painting of Lichfield Cathedral. I like the tonal variations.

Loving the drama sky 🥰

Lovely drawing and great contrasts. Roland Hilder springs to mind!

Love the palette you’ve used Alan

Like the limited palette and bold use of colour artistically applied to a well drawn image

I’ve drawn and painted this fabulous cathedral with its famous three spires in just about every medium! This is a recent ink and wash sketch around A4 on Hahnemuhle paper using FW acrylic ink. I’ve added some drama to the sky on this occasion!
