Splendid work, marvelously expressive and real. You mentioned elsewhere experimenting with gold leaf for the badges etc...I'm wondering if that's going to happen on this painting.

Superb as usual AG. I was wondering about the gold leaf issue, thinking maybe a few small patches of it (on cap badges etc) MIGHT look odd. Most of the pictures I've seen using gold leaf have used a fair bit. But who knows, it might have looked great.
