Guilded Doe

This is my latest piece, titled Guilded Doe. I wanted to create something from my mind that was different! I wanted to capture beauty and serenity, the large guilded area represents the burden of life that follows us. Drawn in graphite and painstakingly layered the background to get a dark effect, which took hours and hours to finish. Guilded with gold leaf which was my first time too. A2 on 200gsm paper my biggest piece to date.
