Winner of September's The Artist 90th anniversary challenge announced

See the winning entry in our September 90th anniversary painting challenge.

Diane Boswell has been selected as the winning artist in September's The Artist 90th anniversary challenge for her acrylic painting, Magical Mystery Postcard, see below.

Each month we are inviting entries on a theme inspired by a key event of 1931, the year which saw the launch of the magazine.

In September 1931, RCA Victor introduced the LP record and we invited artists to create their own album cover.

Diane's vibrant acrylic and pencil work takes you on a musical journey through an abstract landscape of colour and shape.
