The Artistic Framing Company has been commissioned to design and create bespoke frames for Peter Brown’s exhibition 'London' at Messum’s in London.

Affectionately known as 'Pete the Street' due his all-weather painting au plein air of street scenes and city landscapes, Peter’s 'London' exhibition will showcase over 70 paintings and includes two enormous 60inch by 75inch works.

The mammoth framing task will be overseen by directors of The Artistic Framing Company, Peter and Julia Ashley (see photograph of Julia at work below). Peter Brown said: 'I have worked with Julia and Peter of The Artistic Framing Company for the last ten years and I have absolute faith in handing them 70 paintings of all sizes with the only instruction being; ‘can you frame them please’. Their workmanship and professionalism is excellent but it is the ‘eye’ that I love - to know that next time I see the paintings they will look their best.'

Julia Ashley of The Artistic Framing Company, said: 'We are delighted to be working with Peter on this important new exhibition. The perfect frame should complement the artwork and we are thrilled to be a part of the finished product.'

London runs from January 13 to February 12 at Messum’s in Cork Street, London. Click here for more details.
