Thank you Val. I struggled to get a good pic of it, the colours and crispness are much nicer is real life. I started painting about 6 months ago and can't put the brushes down now !!

Your use of light on the hillside is very effective Yvonne, well done! Nice colours too. I've just started painting in Acrylics myself after 12 years of watercolour.

You have done really well as you have portrayed the light really effectively. You have also used a limited palette which always adds drama to work. Keep going - look forward to seeing more work.

Hi Thea, Paul. Thank you for your supportive comments. I have actually gone back to this pic and lightened the far away hill, which looks better. I just love colour and yes Thea because I am not confident at colour mixing I stick to a limited palette. I think acrylics are so versitile.
