Good luck with this, Stuart. But the cheek on the left of the picture appears to be much bigger than the on on the right. this may be correct, but i thought I would point it out any way. I often find that quick drawings are more accurate than the more considered ones. Hope this helps - best of luck!

Thanks Linda. There was a 'bump' in the left check perhaps I over did it and a lot of shadow on the right side.

First day of a 5 day monotone painting week at Barnes Artelier. Its certainly out of my comfort zone. Today was a drawing the aim of which was getting an outline and shadow areas so I can trace the main features tomorrow onto canvas ready for painting. Not having done painting for a while it should be fun.
